In an effort to be greener, ESMI Companies (ESMI) is evaluating firing their low temperature thermal desorption (LTTD) units on Biofuels. Biofuels are a wide array of fuels derived from biomass. Some examples of such biomass are wood, grass, charcoal, agricultural wastes, and non-food energy crops.By looking to move to biofuel, ESMI would reduce their carbon footprint and utilize a sustainable alternative energy source. Recently, ESMI has been working with burner manufacturers and energy consultants to evaluate present equipment designs and technology to ensure that the company is moving in an economical and environmentally sound direction.ESMI will keep the news forthcoming.
